Packed with enough "facts" to convince even the most skeptical reader, ".and the truth shall set you free" is frightening in its verisimilitude. Unlike many books that seek to "expose" the Global Elite, Freemasonry, and government conspiracies, Icke's book seems remarkably free of the usual blaming and dogma associated with the genre. Will pique the interest of those who question authority and aggravate those who don't. One of the concepts-- that the "real influence" is wielded by beings (or an energy) from the Fourth Dimension called the Prison Warder Consciousness--seems more like fantasy/science-fiction than fact, unless viewed as metaphor. It reminded me of a Colin Wilson novel called "The Mind Parasites," which scared the blue Jesus out of me when I read it as a seventeen year old, half a lifetime ago. Icke's book managed to convince thi! s reader of sombunall (some but not all) of the information, but left me with the question of motive (besides the desire to nibble on souls as if we were spiritual apertifs). Why is this Prison Warder Consciousness busting our chops? And, just as important, are there people in power who are actively and successfully opposing the Global Elite? In spite of these points, I highly recommend this book. It will open your mind to another reality tunnel and just might scare you into being a better human being. De même, ses explications sur le contrôle que nous subissons quotidiennement via le cerveau reptilien me permettent un nouveau regard et une nouvelle maîtrise des émotions qui me sont imposées (comme à tout un chacun) via cet organe. Je pense lire une seconde fois le livre au moment opportun. David Icke est un homme courageux. Je souhaite acquérir et lire ses autres livres. Hallucinant ! Je n'ai lu que 150 pages pour l'instant et j'en prends plein la tronche. En fait toutes ces révélations (basées sur des analyses et sur du concret, je tiens à préciser) ne font que confirmer ce que je pensais depuis plusieurs années, mais en allant beaucoup plus loin que je n'aurais pu l'imaginer. Je comprends les sceptiques, car si on ne s'est jamais posé de questions, le choc est trop violent. L'écart entre ce que nous pensons être la réalité, et la réalité est trop important. Et dans ce cas, on préfère nier en bloc en laissant ça pour les fous, c'est logique. Mais finalement qui sont les fous et qu'est-ce que la réalité ? Que connaissons-nous d'elle ? Sommes-nous si malins et si avancés alors que nous ne sommes pas capable d'explorer autre chose d'autre que notre petite planète et que l'exploration de l'infini se cantonne pour le moment à quelques théories scientifiques. Je ne suis pas encore à la fin, mais tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que pour faire des recoupements aussi précis, il faut fournir une grande énergie, s'y impliquer à fond. David Icke ne fait pas les choses à moitié, donc soit c'est un fou furieux très doué, soit il s'est vraiment passé quelque chose, tel qu'il le décrit. On ne réussit pas un tel exploit tout seul. Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que son raisonnement est trop lucide et trop cohérent pour qu'on ne puisse pas s'interroger. C'est étonnant que le livre soit encore en circulation. Je reviendrais plus tard, pour compléter mon commentaire, lorsque j'aurai terminé.
